\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>An Open Letter to My Facebook Friends:<\/p>\n<p>Let me begin by stating that I have been quietly, but very closely, monitoring your posts about Donald Trump.\u00a0 I have been reading your heartfelt messages, and I have been clicking on your media links.\u00a0 Each has served to underscore my belief that we hold the same opinion about Trump.\u00a0 In particular, I agree with your passionate (yet poignantly insightful) comments about \u2013<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The \u201cWall\u201d<\/li>\n<li>The Paris Climate Agreement<\/li>\n<li>The Iran Nuclear Deal<\/li>\n<li>The investigation into <em>Russian Collusion<\/em><\/li>\n<li>And, of course, who makes the best Taco Bowl<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The rational choice on each issue is plain as day.\u00a0 Unless it was that day last August we had the eclipse, then\u2026 well, maybe I should have used the phrase \u201cplain as the nose on your face.\u201d\u00a0 But I digress.<\/p>\n<p>There will come a day when those who disagree with us will receive a direct and unambiguous message, and that day is November 3, 2020.\u00a0 On that momentous day, we will sit in our living rooms watching the talking heads announce that justice has indeed prevailed.\u00a0 <em>\u00a0<\/em>Our point will have been made loud and clear.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for your willingness to, \u201cput yourself out there\u201d and \u201cwear your heart on your sleeve.\u201d\u00a0 I have admired your fortitude and your courage.\u00a0 Yours is the backbone and strength our county needs at this critical time in our history.<\/p>\n<p>I look forward to reading your future posts and nodding my head in agreement.\u00a0 Keep the light of your passion burning.\u00a0 In fact, I am going to hit \u201crefresh\u201d after I type my final sentence
